Science Storytelling for Digital Video

Workshop Description: In this two-part science communication workshop, you'll learn skills for communicating your research to a mainstream audience through basic video and storytelling techniques, identify the best social media platform for you to share your research, and complete a short vertical video using your phone camera and built-in Instagram editing tools.

Speaker bio:

Jessie Hendricks is a Senior Creative Producer and on-camera host for the Getty Museum's YouTube series, Becoming Artsy. She earned her Masters' degree in Science Writing from MIT, and studied biological oceanography during undergrad.
